Flu Vaccinations

Please contact the practice for more information on flu vaccinations including dates and times.

If you are over 65 years old, have a child of 2 or 3 years old, currently pregnant or a carer please arrange an appointment to see the nurse.

If you suffer from any of the following complaints, then again, please arrange an appointment with the nurse:

Chronic Kidney Disease, Chronic Liver Disease, Chronic Heart Disease, COPD, Asthma, Diabetes, Immunosurpressed, Chronic Neurological Disease (including Stroke/TIA/Cerebral Palsy or MS), Asplenia or Disfunction of Spleen, BMI over 40.

Childhood Vaccinations and 8 Week Baby Checks

Childhood immunisations to be booked with the practice nurse.

8 Week Baby checks are to be booked with the GP.

It is important for your child to have all their immunisations completed. A full timetable of childhood immunisations is available from the reception or in the immunisation timetable document. If you have any concerns and want to discuss this with our experienced childhood immunisation nurse Sharon Spencer please book an appointment at the reception desk.

Please ensure you bring your child’s red book.

Consultations are by appointment and these may be made by telephone, online or in person. Consulting times may be altered during clinical staff annual leave or any sick leave taken by the clinical staff.

Travel Vaccinations

Please allow at least 8 weeks prior notice for holiday vaccines as we are unable to guarantee an appointment with the practice nurse before your holiday departure date. Please complete the Travel Risk Assessment form in plenty of time to arrange any vaccinations that may be necessary.

Occupational Vaccines/Blood Tests

We do not offer vaccines/blood tests for occupational purposes i.e. Hep B, Measles etc.

Please contact your employer/agency occupational health department.
